The sheltered entrance to this craggy school canteen building in France is fronted with a “forest” of slender white columns

This building is a work of art! It’s not the buildings function. Not even the cluster of columns that resemble trees. The only part of this structure that captures your interest is the stone. Only a team of true artist and craftsman could have made the building look as though it was carved out of a rock formation.  The stone is not real, it’s actually shotcrete sculpted to look like stone.
